  We booked the venue for a group. Only one staff member servicing the counter. This led to at least an hour and a half gap for everyone's food to be served to each person. With an advance booking you'd have expected that they would have put more staff on to assist.

  The rooms are The Pier are spacious, clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed, including a much needed heater and electric blankets (it was raining and freezing the night we were there!). Being in the first room right next to the drive through bottle shop was a concern, but there was hardly any noise at all. Our only complaint is that the restaurant didn't start serving meals until 6pm, but we had to do the Low Head Penguin Tour at 6.30pm, so we had to find dinner elsewhere. Otherwise we definitely recommend this place - we've stayed here twice already!
